Dreams Do Come True

I wrote the post below, must read for this picture to make sense! Can you believe in the same day my dad walks in the door while I'm playing Kinect (this body motion sensor game thing! So fun!) and while I'm jumping about and swinging my arms around my dad turns a large box toward me from the doorway... &&& BAM. This little baby looked my straight in the face. I guess I'm going to be able to get a jump start on my guitar practice! I HAD NO IDEA!

Big things come in small packages and sometime big things come in big packages!

And If You Put Your Mind To It

You know the famous saying, "If you put your mind to it... anythings possible" Or how about, "Practice makes perfect." We've all heard em, and all of us have said them one time or another. Well, I'm a fan of a good challenge so I'm going to apply the good ol' saying and put them to good use. I'm going to start playing guitar, taking lessons, and this next year will be dedicated to seeing the progress I make from putting my mind to it and practicing until perfection! I may be getting ahead of myself so, maybe not perfection but I really want to try as many things as I can to see my limits and to see myself exceed limits as well!

So I guess you can call this an early new years resolution? Although every new years resolution seems to more of a failure because personally I think there is just to much pressure on one decision! So it's not a new years resolution it's a resolution happening in the new year! Perfect!

P.S. I'll be posting a picture of my guitar as soon as I get my hands on one

Merry Christmas... And to all a goodnight?

And it was a good night indeed!
I know thanksgiving has far past but I must say I feel very thankful every year I get a chance to celebrate Christ, family and tradition. It never is an easy going Christmas nor quiet or peaceful but I love it and have known nothing different for as long as I can remember. It's what makes my family different and dare I say special. Cheesy words!
This was the first Christmas without my sweet Oma and it really gave me an opportunity to sit back and realize what a beautiful family atmosphere my Oma and Opa have made. Truly is irreplaceable. One of a kind.
I receive joy from spending time with my family. It's wonderful!

Just my darling cousin and myself-

Airport

I'm sitting in the airport waiting to go to Ontario California for my cousin Ashley's birthday!! I've unfortunately & fortunately got here early, so I thought I'd get a pinch of writing in!

Last weekend I was so pleased to be able to go up to Prescott for a day with my parents and darling best friend! It was a B-L-A-S-T! I got to pull out the winter coats and scarfs and cozy up for our little adventure! We spent the day watching a local parade, shopping around at antique shops and we found this adorable ALL organic restaurant/cafe! My mom ordered the best gluten free coconut macaroon and we all got a warm cup of joe! With soy might I add!
The main reason for going was to see the lighting to of the court house and hear them read out of the Bible! It was an awesome time! Kids from local high schools sang and danced before the dimmed the lights and BAM... The building and trees lit up with glee! Wonderful to watch! We grabbed some mexican food and headed back home! It was an awesome experience and I had tons of fun. Also, I'll have to take a picture of the type writer my sweet boyfriend got me! Adorable to say the least! I'll also have pictures from the parade and others soon, as well!
