Things "To Do"

I have a long list of things "To do" today! Right? {As always} I leave to Mexico in the morning so of course I have to pack, clean, laundry, errands, homework, e-mails, and getting to bed early. Although, before I went to bed last night I said a quick prayer that sounded like this, "God, I have a lot of 'stuff' to do tomorrow, but if you have different plans and need to use me somewhere else, I am all Yours." I prayed that specifically because I never want to get to caught up in the stuff that I miss God-ordained-opportunities.

So, I woke up this morning {still tired} and I started my first task on my list. Editing pictures from a photo shoot I just did. & in the process of editing I get a facebook chat alert that reads:

I can't help but laugh {because of my prayer} and wondering if the rest of my day will be filled with chances to put God first. I could have told my good friend (he's like my little brother) that I was really busy today, I mean I had a good excuse - I'm leaving to Mexico to build a house for a family. So selfless of me right? EW. I never want to sounds too busy to talk, or be so caught up on checking off a list of stuff I have to complete that I can't bring Hope to the Hopeless.

If the rest of my day turns out to be multiple conversations like the one I had with my good friend, and nothing gets checked off my list, I will feel like my day was well spent. So God, I said it once and I'll say it again, "I have a lot of 'stuff' to do today, but if you have different plans and need to use me somewhere else, I am all Yours."

To have things that inspire you is awesome, I believe that taking that inspiration and creating something from it is simply allowing you to own the inspiration. My New Obsession

Okay, SOOO, I found these amazing shoes (amazing to me) and I wanted to spend my whole life savings on them. Don't judge! BECAUSE - I didn't. I bought the first pair that you see below! & & & I am so in love with them! The other three are on my list to get - but most likely not going to happen. If I could choose I'd get the boots next. $130, *Cha-CHING* that's nothing right? Right? RIGHT?! I wish that was nothing. I suppose the saying is so true "Life isn't fair!" We'll see if I get the boots, maybe I'll spurge! (MAYBE {come on people I'm not trying to go crazy}) On a brighter note, it gives me something to day dream about at Work! Shhhh - don't tell the Bo$$! Hope you enjoy my eye candy as much as I do!

I have SUCCESSFULLY signed up for my 2012 semester at ASU!

Although... I am way more excited to be done picking classes and signing up then to actually embark on the heavy semester that awaits me. So not looking forward to killing my brain!

BUT - Here is my semester for 2012

On the BRIGHT side... I will only have 2 more classes to take after this semester. Have I told anyone lately how STIKEN EXCITED I AM TO GRADUATE WITH MY BACHELORS DEGREE!

Kick the Bucket

So I've started thinking about all the things I want to do in life - Some small, some BIG. I began making a mental list of anything & everything I wanted to try. With this new phase in my life, a season of time to myself, I thought I should take advantage of every opportunity that comes my way.

The old saying, "Kick the Bucket" is defined as "to die." So creating a bucket list is a way of saying BEFORE I die (Somewhat morbid I know!) I am going to do as many things in life, as possible, that I enjoy. I'm sure the anticipation is building for the AMAZING BUCKET LIST.

So Without Further Adu

(Disclaimer: By no means is this list going to be extremely life changing
or impact lives around me - but then again, maybe it will)

This is a list that I can accomplish faster then my long term bucket list such as buying a house, visiting family in Holland or live in New York for a 5 months.

1) Go on a HOT AIR BALLOON ride (when it gets a tad colder)
2) Ride a MECHANICAL BULL
3) Get my CCW (This has been a long time coming)
4) Perform one of my spoken words at an event
5) Ride a bus to different place around Arizona
6) I want to wear cowgirl (Yee-haaa!) boots and go line dancing (I'm seriously NOT a country girl)
7) Go fishing (& Actually Catch Something)
8) Shake hands with Bill Cosby
9) Go on a MISSIONS trip
10) Help someone else complete something on their bucket list
11) Take guitar lessons (So I can learn how to (better) play worship songs)
12) Sing Karaoke
13) Take belly dancing classes (These Hips won't lie!)
14) Make a short film video with the goal of bringing people together
15) Milk a cow (Mooooo!)
16) See the Grand Canyon again (Now that I'm older (?) and can appreciate it more)
17) Solve the Rubik's cube (Not fast, just solve it - Low expectations I know!)
18) Read an entire book (I typically HATE reading, but I'm willing to give it a shot)
19)
20) Graduate with my BACHELORS degree (I'm totally going to through a HUGE party!)
21) Feed the House-less (Preferably with my sister)
22) Go Ice skating during the Christmas season (Hopefully In California w/ my cousin Ashley)



I'll leave my list at 22 for now & add on if anything else comes pops into my head! I will hopefully be able to take a picture of each one I complete - I'd love to share my journey of life's random things with YOU! Find what your passionate about and run with it!
